Meet our founder

Nikola Vucicevic, our founder and lead designer, has worked in the creative industries for over 20 years, serving clients from around the globe. Since founding Designer and Gentleman in 2013, he has won more than 30 awards in the field – including the CCS Design Awards, Awwwards, the Graphis Design & Advertising Awards, and the Graphic Design USA Awards. In addition to running Designer and Gentleman, Nikola serves as a Grand Jury member for the A' Design Award and Competition – a role he began after winning the Platinum award for his work with Worth Rent-A-Car. As an entrepreneur and a creative, he understands the importance of staying curious, and he is always on top of the latest trends in tech, finance, healthcare, and design.

Awwwards is a Barcelona-based and globally-recognized design competition that promotes innovation and creativity on the internet. Held annually, the competition awards the best web designers, developers and agencies in the world.
Graphis, inc, is an international book publisher and awards body that showcases the best work in Design, Advertising, Photography, and Art/Illustration. At its yearly Awards in New York, Graphis selects Platinum, Gold and Silver winners, and features their work in its hardcover Annual.
The CSSDesignAwards is an international web design and development award platform that honors and highlights freelance designers, studios, and agencies for work that pushes the boundaries of UI, UX, and innovative development.
Founded in 2012, the German Design Award recognizes groundbreaking achievements in design internationally. Led by the German Design Council, the competition’s jury features design experts from all around the world.
Led by Graphic Design USA, the GDUSA Awards celebrates the year’s best projects in the graphic design field – showcasing great work in print, packaging, digital, web design, and beyond. The 58th edition was held in 2021 and received over 11,000 entries.
The World Design Rankings, powered by the A’ Design Awards, highlights and ranks countries based on the number of winning design entries per region. The competition also ranks the best designers in each country.
