The L’Oréal Group is a French cosmetics and beauty company established in 1920 and recognized around the world for its quality products. In its near century in business, L’Oréal has become one of the top ten high-end product companies in the world. We crafted a full visual and graphic standard of the logo, as well as a manual for its usage. We defined the structure of the logo, its construction, color definition, size-testing standards, print color scheme standards, and material standards. The logo was a key element of the future campaign of events.

A division of the L’Oréal Group—L’Oréal Professioneel—has a main office in Belgrade. L’Oréal Professionnel works in partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel salons to help professional hair stylists to achieve their dreams, excel in their work and succeed in their professional careers. Designer & Gentleman was delighted to be hired by L’Oréal Professionnel to help promote their new global campaign: All Different: Each Unique.

Our work for L’Oréal Professionnel was comprised of a number of individual projects. The first was to work on the new campaign and introduce “All Different: Each Unique” to the market. They provided us with the original color proofs from the L’Oréal Paris photographers and it was our responsibility to use these materials to tailor a marketing campaign for our region including the selection of the best printers to provide the highest quality materials.

In addition to adapting the “All Different: Each Unique” campaign, Designer & Gentleman was tasked with creating a logo to help promote the L’Oréal Club Expert workshop. As a part of its global education initiative, L’Oréal Professionnel organizes workshops around the world, in this case in Greece, where stylists can learn about new L’Oréal products, practice using them under the guidance of experts in the field, and take the new skills and products back to their salons to work in partnership with L’Oréal.

The objective for Designer & Gentleman was to create a logo for L’Oréal Club Expert that communicated the purpose and goals of the workshops.

In addition to designing the logo, we developed printed materials, banners, and a brochure for the subsequent workshop which would promote the L’Oréal Club Expert course as well as a new line of L’Oréal hair care products. Course participants and loyal L’Oréal brand members received samples of these products as a gift from the company.
